Small boy's waistcoat
Here is something for your viewing while I work on my 1820s dress. I discovered that this early 19th century waistcoat from Brooklyn, US, fitted my 12 year old son Alcuin very well tonight. Below are some close-up pictures - apologies that some images haven't been turned around yet. I especially love the deep pockets on both sides. The front is well padded and you can't tell there are pockets from the inside.
