Amazing that these are all made of paper. Until I got to the closeups, I thought they were white fabric.

I understand you have organized a trip to Smowshill Manor for Thursady. Do you have any places left? What is the price? What does the event include?

Yes, this display is still there. I heartily recommend it.

Lou, yes, we still have some places on this small tour. It is 45 pounds if you come in our large vehicle or 35 pounds if you provide your own transport. Entry to the National Trust property and refreshments are extra. My email is aylwengg@gmail.com if you wish to discuss this further - I check it morning and night only.

How the heck did they keep the paper so clean??? When I work on white fabric Im always washing my hands but the garments still pick up dirt...
Really beautiful. reminds me of a Met exhibit years ago with baroque clothing and wigs made of white paper. It was stunning.
